Service Shout Out

So this past week has been a crazy one. My husband is off to an internship for 8-10 weeks in a whole other place miles away. But that's not the focus of this post, only a piece of info to give context.

One night I decided to go to Chick-fila. It was kind of later in the evening, and let's face it I've worked the last shift in retail so I know they dread when a car rolls in at about 5 til closing.

I really want to say THANK YOU to the two ladies working at the Chick-fila in Athens GA. Not only did they continue to keep that always positive Chick-fila attitude, they made me a salad fresh from scratch because they were all out. That's pretty cool!

So here is a big thumbs up, as always, to the great workers at Chick-fila.

The Georgia Center @ UGA in Athens- THANKS!

I was recently at a conference (more than one actually) at the Ga Center and I must say THANK YOU to all the staff there. Every single member of their staff exudes excellence in customer service. From the time you walk in the front desk, to dealings with their sales/coordinators you feel like you are getting the royal treatment. I don't know if it's something in the water but I am just amazed at the genuineness of their attitudes and hospitality. Anytime there was a hiccup in plans, the staff was on it. Anytime we had questions, we got answers. So thumbs up everyone, keep up the good work and thanks.

Excuses, Excuses and TYHAND v2.0

Well it has been quite a while folks. The thank yous will be returning. This post is the official relaunch of Thank You Have a Nice Day. Be sure to check here often for all the places with excellent service.

The excuse was that I have been so busy trying to finish grad school and start my new job. Well all that is settling down with graduation this upcoming weekend. So excuses no more! Excuses be gone! I am back to do my thanking duties and share those thank yous with YOU.

Service Shoutout of the Day

So, I have to brag about customer service for a change rather than the food industry. Last week I ordered two photo books from lulu.com for graduation gifts for my two gals Amanda and Mel.

Well I ordered them with my credit card and wondered why the heck I never got an e-mail confirmation. I usually stayed logged in to the website but for some reason I had logged out and when I tried to log in my id and password were not found.

I freaked needless to say.

I used their "Live Chat" feature and got everything settled (long story short) and Ralph Y is awesome. He was my service rep and was totally there for me via IM. How cool is that?

So thank you and have a nice day lulu.com (and I highly recommend them for self publishing and other cool projects).

Sorry it's been a while, thesis catching up with me. Anyways, I'm still around spreading the thank you love. Are you?

Tonight I want to thank pizza delivery folks. Or really, anyone who will deliver. Especially tonight I want to thank the sweet girl who was soaked from the rain (because I didn't want to go out and buy food in the rain). Here is a big thumbs up to you!

We should all make an effort to tip more when it rains...

First ever- Employee of the Month

So I mentioned starting this before, but here it is: TYHAND's first ever Employee of the Month- Kyle.

Kyle is a waiter/server in Auburn, AL at Santa Fe. He is pictured below:





Kyle unfortunately shared lots of horror stories with my friends and I are dinner last week and we decided he should be the first employee of the month. So visit Santa Fe, ask for this guy- and tip big :)

He's putting himself through college and dreams of being a filmmaker. Kudos to you Kyle!
